Rim Country Health is now serving Veterans in Gila County.
As of July 1, 2017, RCH is the only skilled nursing facility designated to provide long-term care to service-connected Veterans in Gila County.
Press Release -Payson AZ, July 25, 2017 - Rim Country Health & Rehabilitation (RCH) is proud to announce, as of July 1, 2017, we will be the only skilled nursing facility, in Gila County, that has the VA contract to provide skilled nursing care to Veterans who qualify. “We are proud to have this specific designation from the VA for our Campus,” expressed by Harvey Pelovsky, Administrator/Owner.
“In addition to skilled nursing care, there are several events, internally, that we currently celebrate with/for, our Veterans and look forward to adding to more celebrations and remembrances.”
Two Key Qualification Requirements:
1) Veterans rated 70% or more service-connected should be eligible.
2) Admission orders by a VA physician, or authorized private physician, who
determines if nursing home care is needed.
Along with this designation, Veterans can now meet with a VA representative on the campus of Rim Country Health. Rob Thompson, Veteran Benefits Counselor - Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services – has changed his meeting location from the Payson DES office to the conference room within Rim Country Health’s main campus building, beginning in July.
Scheduled appointments with Rob Thompson are necessary. Please directly contact Rob (photo below) at (602) 627-3282-Office or by email email@example.com to review what information is needed to make your appointment more productive, which will lead to more efficient processing.
