| P.I.N.E. Place Behavioral Management |
This secured wing within our skilled nursing facility offers specialized services and care. This unit is called P.I.N.E Place for the acronym which means:
- P-rofessional
- I-ndividualized
- N-ursing
- E-xpertise
This wing is primarily for long-term care residents whose behavioral issues render them incompatible with a community based or general resident population. It is a 26 bed, keypad secured, dedicated unit. There is also monitored wandering within the unit with an emphasis on allowing as much freedom of movement for the resident as is safe. All Pine Place beds are licensed for Skilled Nursing and Medicare. The wing is primarily for seniors 55 or older but younger residents may qualify.
